Trish Wood graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2006, with a Bachelor of Arts (Dance). She was selected to be part of the graduate company, LINK Dance Company under the direction of Michael Whaites. The company engaged in an overseas tour, performing in Prague as part of the Prague Dance Festival and in Yekaterinburg, Russia, as part of the Small World Festival.
Trish received a grant from ArtsWA in 2007 to participate in the lmpulstanz Festival in Vienna, and also the Anouk Van Dijk workshop in Amsterdam. Trish then worked with Clare Dyson on her new work, Being There, which premiered in Berlin as part of the Tanzfabrik Festival and in Australia at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, Brisbane. In 2008 Trish has worked with Sol Ulbrich, as part of the Soft Landing Project and performed in In Living Memory by Juliet Shelley and Andrew Marcus in New Zealand. Trish joined Tasdance in 2008 for One for Sorrow, Two for Joy.
