Anne Thompson

Biography

Anne was also a founding member of Dance Works, working as a dancer and choreographer. She graduated from Melbourne State College in 1983 and worked as a movement tutor at Footscray Institute. She has also been a tutor in movement at the Victorian College of the Arts, where she choreographed student works for the Drama School and taught Kinesiology for the Dance School.

Anne has choreographed several works for Dance Works including Solo for Sally, Every Little Movement with Beth Shelton, Significant Places and an untitled work based on the book The Plains by Gerald Murnane. Anne co-choreographed Every Little Movement for Tasdance with Beth Shelton in 1985.
