Tania was born in Italy, grew up in Adelaide where she began her dancing career. She continued to study dance at tertiary level, completing her studies at the Centre for Performing Arts in 1991.
From 1991 to 2000 Tania worked primarily as a freelance artist within the independent artist scene, with the State Opera of South Australia and Opera Australia in productions such as Madame Butterfly, The Pearl fishers, Treemonisha and Salome. Tania has also been involved in the commercial dance sector and has worked extensively in the education area, teaching dance to all ages. She has been involved in the first two Australian Dance Theatre Ignition seasons and performed in the film The Diaries of Nijinsky directed by Paul Cox.
Tania joined Tasdance in 2001 and has performed with the company in Treasured Island, Gideon Obarzanek's While You're Down There for the for the 4th international Asia Pacific Symposium in Seoul, Ripple Effect, Fair Game and her last production with Tasdance was Light and Shade in 2004.
