Synopsis |
Sights and Settings was primarily a response to Stephen Leek's score. It was the first time Neil had created a work using the music as the primary inspiration and he regarded this a development in his working process. The choreography reflected the quality, rhythmic structure and feeling sense of each of the five music sections. A sense of ritual and group experience developed out of the choreographers response to the highly evocative music and fused the sections into an integrated whole. |
