DJ TR!P, a Lo-Fi electro sonic composer, has been making music he was sixteen and has released numerous albums including a 12 solo release Paintbox, completed various collaborations with other artists and tours around Australia regularly. He has performed at the 2003 and 1999 Big Day 0ut concerts, the Adelaide Festival Opening and on Triple J - Live to air Mix Up.
In 1998 DJ TR!P received the SAM/A Most Popular DJ Award. He has been called an Eccentric genius and compared to Aphex Twin, Trent Reznor and OJ Shadow. All this using an Amiga 1200, a Commodore 64 and a pile of Retro Video Games and consoles and a desire to be unique. 'I am a catcher of frequency butterflies, floating through sound waves, with the CB scanner as my net, looking for loopholes in the continuum'.
DJ TR!P composed the music for Tanja Liedtke's Enter Twilight in 2004 as part of Tasdance's Light and Shade production.
